RangeBuddy respects your privacy.
RangeBuddy does not collect or store your personal information on its own servers. The app stores the information you enter and your practice history on your device. When iCloud is available for RangeBuddy, this app data is synchronized through Apple’s iCloud service.
Information stored by the app
RangeBuddy may store the following information within the app:
Your name, skill level, goals, and training preferences
Selected golf clubs and notes you add about them
Practice plans and completed sessions
Practice results, including ratings for contact, direction, distance, trajectory, and confidence
Progress history and feedback you enter
This information is used only to create lessons, show your progress, and personalize your experience in the app.
Storage and iCloud Sync
Your data is stored locally on your device.
When iCloud is available for RangeBuddy through your Apple settings, a copy of the app’s saved state may be synchronized through Apple iCloud Key-Value Store. This helps keep your app data available across your Apple devices.
RangeBuddy does not receive or store your Apple ID.
Purchases
RangeBuddy subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. RangeBuddy does not receive or store your payment card details.
Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Information we do not use
The current version of RangeBuddy does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, or HealthKit data.
We do not sell your information or share it with advertising networks.
Managing or deleting your data
You can clear practice progress and session history from the app’s profile settings. This does not remove your profile details, selected clubs, or club notes.
Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. If your data has been synchronized through iCloud, deleting the app may not remove the iCloud copy. You can manage iCloud data through your Apple Account and device settings.
Children’s privacy
RangeBuddy is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The latest version will be available on the RangeBuddy website and in the app where applicable.
